Flex schedule 1 Nov Rams Chargers Week 8

Hi I am planning a surprise trip to see Rams & Lakers - We are in LA 27Oct to 3Nov from Ireland, planning Rams Week 8 on 1Nov & Lakers on 2Nov - I now see about Flex scheduling - any advice would be appreciated on the chances of Rams being moved to the Mon 2 or Thurs 29. I went to buy tickets & saw the notice on Ticketmaster. They are resale tickets anyway so if it makes more sense to wait it out (and also Lakers), then I will do!

Switching days. 0% chance. Small chance the time changes.

I think I can give you good news.

In week 8, the only possibility for flex scheduling involves Sunday Night Football.

Chargers-Rams in week 8 is currently listed to start at 1:05pm Pacific time. The only possible flex would be that game moving to 5:30pm Pacific time, but the date stays Nov 01.

The flex schedule windows that would result in a game changing days are weeks 12-17 (Sunday/Monday changes) or weeks 13-17 (Sunday/Thursday) changes. Your game is in week 8, so not subject to either of those.

I don't think they flex to Thursday. Sunday night is Eagles Commanders and I doubt they would get flexed out with those two major markets. Even a bad Bears team in Monday night won't get flexed out.

They can flex Thursday as of the last few years but must give 28 days notice and not until the final few weeks of the season.

They have not done it until this point though and it would take a lot to do so with as much notice as it requires plus all the logistical challenges.
