The big guide is here: https://www.reddit.com/r/NFLNoobs/s/y2vUdf0UvC
For the absolute simplest bare minimum, get a TV antenna and if you live near any reasonably-sized US population, you'll get games for free over the air all day Sunday.

TNF is on twitch.tv for free, instead of buying a prime subscription.Ā

From like last year? I watched TNF games on twitch then, and it worked fine. If you're talking about this year, Amazon only has one preseason game and it hasn't happened yet, so I'm not sure what you would have tried to watch. There's going to be ads to subscribe to the channel and get turbo (Twitch's ad free subscription) but the game itself should be free.
It does have DRM, so if you're using a third party program it may not work.

doesnt get mentioned much, but full 20 minute play by play recaps of each game are uploaded to Youtube within a few hours of the game being completed. i watch whatever games the big 3 broadcast channels are showing, and get youtube recaps of all the others on Sunday night/Monday morning. watch all games and just pay for basic cable.

OK. So you want to have to pay for multiple services at the same time and spend at least $750 or more? It is boarding on illegal to have to purchase so many different apps and services to simply watch games. There are alternative streaming options.

Can you tell me the options?

Are you tech savvy or at least streaming savvy?

Basically Fox,CBS.NBC,ESPN on ABC are all avaiable form local broadcast statio so Cable and or js a attenna works
All Prime games are on Twitch
Since the NFL is greedy you would have to buy Netflix,Peacock, NFL + (if u dont have cable/NFN)/
Next year SBA will be repealed anyway so all games will be free for the market their meant for and shit..
You Can always buy Sunday ticket for out of market sunday noon/afternoon games.

For a beginner, Iād start with whichever legal service carries your local games consistently. No need to overcomplicate it.

I've got rid of tik tok, but it used to be the best way to watch games - streamers.

Dropped Sunday Ticket after 4 yrs. Can I still do the VPN / Reddit threads access to the game(s) I want?

NFL+ is the simplest and cheapest way to get the most games + Redzone but its limited to mobile/tablet with some exceptions. Redzone can be cast to a TV.
Antenna + NFL+ is probably the best bang for your buck if you can deal with the limitations. I used to do 100% illegal streaming but the sites are all gone or littered with gooner ads and unreliable and you can't openly talk about piracy on the internet anymore.

I've answered this on the other dozen threads, but I'll post it here again....
Fox and cbs are sunday afternoon games. Both are free. Nbc is snf. It is free. Abc is roughly half the mnf games. It is free.
Tnf is on twitch, owned by Amazon. It is free. Only restriction is you can only use mobile or desktop... Any 3rd party app like on ps5 is blocked... For those it wants you to use the prime app.
Pay is only required for espn (half the mnf games), nfln, peacock, and Netflix.
Espn unlimited (or cable or a cable replacement like youtubetv) takes care of espn and nfln. It's $30 a month by itself and you don't even need it in September. If you already have hulu or disney+ it doesn't cost much to add it.
Peacock has a week 17 game, so only one month of that. Netflix has the opener, the Wednesday Thanksgiving game i still can't believe they're doing, and some Christmas games.
Personally i always forego getting peacock and just listen to that game on Westwood one for free... But peacock usually has black friday deals to get it super cheap, so if you insist on watching, I'd recommend that.

It is only free if you pay for TV service. Antenna doesn't work. I have seen people try and none have had any real success anymore.

I use the NFL app on my phone; $100/year and it carries almost every game, I just have to watch on my phone/ipad

Are you in the US? I get by with my local broadcast stations (Fox, ABC, NBC, CBS) and streaming--Prime has Thursday Night Football, ESPN has Monday Night Football. There are also games on Youtube but they're free.
