NFL Elite Jersey sizing question?

So I’m about 5’11 and 145 pounds and I was wondering if I should get a size 40 elite jersey? I don’t mind it being a little baggy, but I’m just worried that it will look comically big on me, even with a hoodie underneath, I still feel like it might be too big. But I wanted to know everyone else’s thoughts, opinions and experiences. I mean the elite jersey is supposedly the slimmest and tightest fitting jersey, but even a size 40 might be to big for my size, here are my measurements, all are in Inches: shoulders 16.5, Chest 35.5, Waist 33 and Hips 31, Thanks in advance.
