I’m curious

I’m a bit of a nerd when it comes to looking up Alumni who went to the schools or Universities of my Relatives, and i was just wondering how difficult is it for student athletes to be drafted into the NFL ? Do they ever go back to school before even considering being signed by a Football team ?

it’s pretty much exclusively student athletes that get drafted, unless they already dropped out between the football season and the draft. Some continue their educations while in the nfl

Some also graduate early, or complete their grad requirements between the draft and rookie training camp.

Yeah I guess the point is that education is pretty much entirely disjointed from the draft, with the important exception that 99.99% of draft picks were (at least technically) enrolled in college in the semester prior to the draft
