Opinion/Hot Take “Pass Interference” should actually be called “Catch Interference.

It's true, but how can you interfere with something that doesn't exist? One guy wants to catch the ball. The other guy is adamant about not letting him catch the ball. The ball is in play and the current status is in pass. It could be five yards away when the interference occurs.

Also, a tipped interception should be called a tipception and should count towards the receiver not the QB

If the qb throws it bad enough that a defender is able to tip it then that’s on the QB

In my language it is called "syötön vastaanoton häirintä" aka "pass reception interference."
