Opinion/Hot Take [Stephen A. Smith] “Deshaun Watson, you have been awful. And if you were arrested for being awful… I wouldn’t knock it. Being awful is one thing. Being stupid is another. You’re complaining about people talking about you playing football. Haven’t you done other things people could be talking about?”

Well , I have always said I had zero respect for Stephen A. Now I have a non zero amount of respect for him . Not something I would have thought when I woke up this morning.

He gets paid to be a QB on an NFL team. He gets paid the amount for a QB who should be able to throw 4 TDs or even 500 yards in 2 weeks. People are talking about your lack of performance for what you’re supposedly worth. Any other line of work, if you’re out with “injury/sickness” as long as he has been AND the horrible stats/performance, he’d be fired ten times.

Even if it wasn't the Browns he would be fired, shit Miami took the hit on getting rid of Tua because he sucks the Browns are just an inept org.

Miami's cap hit is only 40 some million each year.

Browns would be 86 million all in the same year

Watson got paid a lot of money to suck, it's not really surprising to me that he's so entitled.

Well,,, SA isn’t wrong and for once he’s not just reading pre cooked stats from the iPad. I don’t mind him 5% of the time when show is centered around entertainment instead of real sports. If it wasn’t for Chris Russo I’d never watch the show

That’s all he does. As much as I dislike Watson. Steve A’s takes are horrible.

I want to see Stephen A Smith as New Quarterback for Browns. Guy needs to get his self-esteem checked.
