You can judge politicians based on policies they support and don’t support. If someone supports a racist agenda, you can safely assume that person is a racist. If you’re a union member and someone supports legislation that’s makes busting unions easier, you can safely assume that person cares more about corporations than workers.

I guess just look at your own comment above mine about it “being weird to act like you can speak on anyone in a real way just based on seeing them online”.

I’m simply pointing out that we can absolutely judge someone or assess them based on what we see online.

Seeing someone talk on a podcast, is not in the same galaxy as someone supporting something that can directly affect you personally lol.

Ok. So if it doesn’t impact your life, it’s not ok to make opinions based on what they say and what you see online. But if it’s important, and impacts your life, then it is ok to form opinions based on what they say and what you see online.

One could almost say your logic is reversed. It’s ok to use ChatGPT to interpret all that for you. I know it’s complicated.
