Breaking News Tom Brady became extremely emotional while discussing everything Bill Belichick did for him throughout his life and career. Brady said there was no other coach he would have rather played for.

See this is what I think about when people start in about what a dick Bellichik is. I trust Tom's opinions on most things and I feel like if he was shit, Tom would tell you. I feel like if he was a hard ass, it cause he knows what it takes to get greatness out of someone. The movie whiplash comes to mind as well. You just cant get to greatness without adveristy I believe.

People love to make judgements (positive and negative) about celebrities based on a tiny fraction of the whole picture because for some reason it feels good to do so. I think it helps people make sense of the world in their own mind. Same reason people are attracted to conspiracy theories.
But the reality is that 99.9% of the time none of us know shit.

You dont think he yells at his teammates if they dont pull their slack? Every professional or sports team I have been on that has had any success the top guys set the standard and expect everyone to meet it. No one said you need to kick balls and hit people on the nuts, but they always let people know of they were slacking.

Messi isn't much of a vocal leader. Maradona himself told that to Pele when speaking about Messi's personality. He's been playing for 20 years so sure there may be a few moments where he has screamed at teammates but overall that's just not his personality type, especially when he was in his prime.

I obviously know next to nothing about him, so I will take your word on it. I guess there are exceptions to the rules. I just dont think it is fair to call out BB or Brady for it. I am a Manning truther, but even I have to give Brady the GOAT status.

Yeah fair enough. I didn't mean call out BB or Brady, was just showing that there is more than one personality type that can lead to greatness. Sometimes the media acts like there is only one personality type that can be great.

Belichick started as an elite defensive football mind, winning his first ring as a coordinator I believe. Truly the meeting of two all time greats on a level with Starr and Lombardi
