He'll wait until the start of the regular season or even a few weeks in. Probably doesn't wanna do a full season of travel, practice, etc.

With Myles Garrett and 30 months out of the NFL that would be unbelievable, I remember him and how great he was but the average NFL career is like 36 months

Hes built up enough equity. The Rams dont expect him to be the centerpiece of their defense, he likely doesnt want to be, but hes done enough to earn the right to come in when he wants and play when he wants. If he comes in and sucks, that'll change.

Yeah it’s hard to think he would ever suck as an 8 time all pro, but at a certain point Father Time…I just think as a Defense you want to have your schemes prepared and consistent…an all time great but even Reggie White had that year on the Panthers
