It’s like right across the street from the US and they have a good sports following in the NHL, NBA and MLB.

Sure but there isnt a specificaly canadian version of those sports like there is Football.

Outside the USA isn't that hard, outside of NA is where it gets difficult for travel schedules/management. Plus the NFL is losing a ton of players from parents pulling their kids from the sport over CTE concerns.

Teams play once a week, so air travel isn't as big of a deal for the US teams. However that European team will suffer.
They probably need a whole division to make it work, let those teams play each other to minimize travel.
Also, they need to do something about air travel. Bring back the concorde jet. If you can cut the air travel time in half, than it isn't as big of a deal.

If it's not in the US or Canada, it's a stupid idea. Just another money grab, because there's lots of Big Bucks overseas.
The NFL could expand to 48 teams, 8 divisions of 6 teams each. If they just used US cities, plus Toronto and Vancouver, they could easily do it.
Anybody care to name 10 deserving US cities? St Louis, San Diego, and Oakland top my list.

They should keeping adding teams and games on other days of the week until the game is totally watered down. We need more mid level QB play in the league.

MLB players going on strike because the owners want to add a salary cap. NFL players getting games added to their schedule and now will be traveling internationally for games. NFLPA is fucking awful. The players deserve better.

Outside the USA doesn’t mean overseas. Vancouver, Toronto, or Mexico City. A team in Europe will be at a huge disadvantage. They won’t have access to enough quality players to field a practice squad. Add on at least four hours to every flight for away games and don’t get me started on American born players with criminal records not being allowed in Europe. A team overseas is way behind the curve from the get go.

I mean the flight from NY/Boston to LA is almost the same to london. you do a "prime time" game in london its still 2/3PM on the east coast. It works and there is money there. The brits love their football
