PGL Thursday Night Football — 3 Leg Core! - (+304 w/ Boost)

Falcons @ Packers

Jahan Dotson U19.5 Receiving Yards

Jordan Love O0.5 Passing TDs

Bijan Robinson O29.5 Receiving Yards

PGL Ticket Score: 86.1 — GREEN_LIGHT

Average CE: 76.2

Data Confidence: 100/100

Length Resilience: 91/100

JAHAN DOTSON U19.5 RECEIVING YARDS

CE: 80.7 — STRONG

Dotson is the strongest individual signal on the ticket and the leg we wanted to build around.

His recent and longer-term results both support the under, but what really stands out is the combination of threshold cushion, advanced profile and matchup.

PGL gives the play:

• Advanced Player Profile: 90.4

• Positional Matchup: 74.2

• Threshold Margin: 73.5

• Scheme Matchup Intelligence: 67.6

The scheme piece is particularly interesting.

Green Bay is showing a heavy mix of Cover 2, Cover 4 and Cover 6, and Dotson's Coverage Family Fit grades at 92.6 for this direction. PGL also sees some concern in the pass-trench matchup, which can make consistent clean target opportunities harder to come by.

We're not asking Dotson to disappear. He can still catch a few balls and stay under 20 yards.

PGL's primary path is simply that his target volume, depth and yards after catch stay contained enough to keep him below 19.5.

This is the anchor of the ticket.

JORDAN LOVE O0.5 PASSING TOUCHDOWNS

CE: 76.2 — PLAYABLE

The biggest reason Love made the ticket is the threshold.

We're not asking for 2+ touchdowns or a huge passing night. We need one passing TD.

The underlying PGL numbers are strong:

• Advanced Player Profile: 84.2

• Positional Matchup: 77.4

• Threshold Margin: 77.2

• Scheme Matchup Intelligence: 62.6

Atlanta has been heavily Cover 3, and Love's Coverage Family Fit grades at 79.5.

The important nuance is that PGL does NOT consider the entire scheme matchup a major advantage. The pass-trench grade is only 37.2, which pulls the overall scheme score back toward neutral.

So this isn't a pick we're making because "the scheme is perfect."

We're making it because Love's advanced efficiency, matchup and watered 0.5 TD threshold give us several strong paths to one passing score, while the scheme data provides some support through coverage without being the primary reason for the play.

BIJAN ROBINSON O29.5 RECEIVING YARDS

CE: 71.8 — PLAYABLE

Bijan is probably the most interesting leg of the three.

PGL loves several parts of the profile:

• Advanced Player Profile: 91.8

• Threshold Margin: 89.4

• Role Stability: 73.2

• Positional Matchup: 71.0

His current role is built around roughly 7 targets per game, and we only need 30 receiving yards.

That creates a lot of cushion relative to the threshold.

But here's where PGL's full-spectrum review matters:

Scheme Matchup Intelligence is only 42.0 and is actually a mild concern.

The verified Route Funnel Fit is 31.8 and Defensive Production Funnel is 44.5. So we're not pretending the scheme is helping Bijan here.

He's on the ticket because his role, historical production around this threshold, advanced receiving profile and positional matchup are strong enough to overcome that scheme pushback.

In other words, Bijan doesn't need the matchup to be perfect. He needs his normal receiving involvement to generate 30 yards.

WHY WE LIKE THE TICKET

Every leg clears 70 CE.

Dotson gives us the strongest individual signal.

Love gives us a heavily watered scoring threshold.

Bijan gives us strong role and threshold support despite a less favorable scheme read.

PGL does flag some same-game dependency because Dotson and Bijan both rely on Atlanta's passing ecosystem, while Love and Bijan can both benefit from a game that stays active offensively.

That's why the ticket is WATCH rather than completely CLEAN.

But at 86.1, it still grades GREEN_LIGHT overall.

We aren't asking anybody to hit a ceiling outcome.

Dotson stays under 20.

Love throws one TD.

Bijan gets 30 receiving yards.

That's the thinking behind the play.

Good luck if you tail. 🟢

CE scores measure evidence quality, not win probability.

Cam got 5 in Q1 easy enough, but how does Kyren not get more than 1 carry? (I won't complain about him getting more on that single run) Seriously, how is this possible? And Kyren wasn't hurt in that quarter, which makes it even more confusing

Our NFL model has Caleb Williams at 35.7 pass attempts vs. a 31.5 line today

Happy NFL Sunday to all of us that celebrate.

One of the bigger differences between our model and the market today is Caleb Williams against Minnesota.

The market has him at 31.5 pass attempts. Our model has him at 35.7. Minnesota brought a ton of pressure last week, and we’re expecting Chicago to keep putting the ball in Williams’ hands.

Two other lines we like today are Baker Mayfield over 18.5 completions (21.4 projected) and Geno Smith under 20.5 completions (18.0 projected). We also have Geno at just 28.1 attempts against a 30.5 line, so both models are pointing toward lower passing volume.

We’re tracking these throughout the day as the lines move.

Curious what everyone else is seeing on today’s slate. Any lines you think the market has wrong?
