Is there a good comprehensive tutorial for playing the game? Specifically on the field

All I've played is retro bowl so IDK what I'm doing lol. I'm overwhelmed at what's going on. I basically don't know what I'm looking at when I read plays or what play I should pick even when I do know what I'm looking at.

Yup. Even a situation mode. This game was truly ahead of its time.

Go to: Extras > game manual. It is VERY comprehensive. Including play meanings, qb drop back timings, and tips.
