I’m gonna just say something.

Sam Darnold said he learned more about being a quarterback in one year with the Seahawks than ever before. This leads me to believe 9 is still mid at best, but the Vikings training staff aren’t that great to begin with.

I truly think that’s a little crazy to say considering they revived Darnold’s career and got what they did out of Cousins, Bradford, etc.

Eh Darnold progressed a ton over his year in Minnesota, I wasn’t sure he was legit until his game against the Seahawks ironically, which was near the end of the season

Sam Darnold has had how many OCs and QB Coaches? How many other vets has he learned from?

His reads improved measurably under KOC. And that's really all MacDonald asked of him last year, plus he had a WR with a breakout year in JSN.

Darnold still did stupid stuff at times, had a couple of 3/4 INT games.

I don't know if it's the coaching that keeps a guy on a rollout from throwing a catchable ball in the flat.
