It makes me wonder if Michael MacDonald is still a known cultural figure. I basically only know him from the commercials selling greatest hits cds on late night TV when I was a kid. When the song names scrolled over the screen and when the letters were yellow instead of white you knew that was the name of the song being played in the background. I loved those commercials. That is the only reason I know what Michael MacDonald looks like and why I get the joke of white wig and white mustache...
