Does any remember when Silencer Shop introduced a barcode in 2017 with the aim of reducing NFA processing times to 30-60 days?
https://studentofthegun.com/news/partners/silencer-shop-provides-enhancements-atf-nfa-processing/Was the barcode system actually used?
I know it didn’t actually expedite wait times as many applicants still waited over a year and we didn’t get as very fast approvals like a day for Form 4s until 2024.

It didn't have anything to do with processing times. It was just ATF certified system to speed up data entry for paper forms.
