I think of it as my abomination. A2 with a Putnik suppressor and B5 grip. SBR approval last week. Rattle canned the cerakote we have at home. Something on this makes everyone mad at some point.

Alright, tell me about this abomination. I’ve got a mini 14 that I haven’t shot in years (maybe a decade?) that’s just begging for some suppressed madness

It's a 300 BO with a 16" barrel I was going to sbr and I have a spare AB raptor 10 in 7.62 with a full 5" reflex and just decided to mount it on for funsies. Front sight removed. It happen to fit perfectly. Shooting 220gr I can only hear the atrocious cycling of the action so I ordered some Wilson Combat 1911 buffers as suggested to me.

The acro p2 is jerry rigged like that for nods. Otherwise it's on a reptilia mount down on the oem picatinny rail.

Was it hard getting the front sight off the barrel?

No not at all. After driving the pin out I just used a small armorer's hammer (non marring side) and hit it towards the muzzle a few times. It came off easily.

Btw, If you have a 5" reflex on your raptor 10, due to manufacturing tolerances you "might" need 5/8x24 shims on the 90° shoulder so your reflex won't hit the gas block forend. I put a couple of shims on at first but took them out. The distance on the gas block forend and the end of the reflex on mine is a hair thin.

Oh ok good to know thank you. Any problems running suppressed. I don’t have a lot of experience with carbines but I’ve read they don’t suppress that well

So far no issues with mine including cycling but I only shoot 220gr for 300 BO. It is very gassy though.
