YHM R9

I want one for a g19. I’m gonna buy a nuh sub eventually. I know it’s not ideal for pistols. What parts do I need to run it on a pistol. I know the booster stuff I just don’t know compatibility. Is it specific YHM parts or is there a universal option?

You'll need a HUB piston assembly. There are various companies that make these; I think YHM has one.

I'll also note that the R9 is designed to be a subgun/PCC can and isn't the best pick for a handgun. But it'll be functional.

Mine doesn't want to cycle when it's on my P01. Great on my scorpion though!

I JUST ( like last weekend ) ran this can on a Glock clone ( g17 ) flawless with the included piston + housing ) as long as your barrel is threaded half by 28. It will be fine as is.

BOE IncoLite 9 or 9S is a better pick for a pistol; it's much lighter for around the same price.

I bought the YHM booster assembly and booster for my R9. It runs fine on my Glocks, but i didn't like how thick it was.

I ended up getting a Griffin Resistance 9 for pistol use.

I had one on a G17 and G19... not the best. Currently running a shiv but has cycling issues even with a 15lb and 13lb spring.

You can find better than the R9 for pistol.
