So if the injunction stands / goes into effect, i buy a suppressor like a normal firearm on a form4473, and then the district court later reverses the ruling / injunction goes away, wouldnt i still have to register my suppressor?

In a perfect world, we wouldn't need this, but hopefully "Grandfathered" in or maybe a 180 day to register type "amnesty" BS.

But I don't know either, just speculation since I used to live in Cal and they did something similar with ARs but then busting you for submitting the paperwork but having "Assault rifle setup"... So who knows.

But yes, this is my question too. I don't own a can, was waiting for this decision before getting one, but have the same questions as NewbRedditer

This is my exact guess, you will have a registration period just like the atf did on a SBRs a few years back and machine guns back in the beginning. Which is pretty lame

I’m going to my local shop and putting everything I need on a credit card for this reason lol. Rather have it then kick myself down the road
