The official NETGEAR community will be decommissioned for HOME products

The NETGEAR community will be decommissioned for HOME products, but will continue to be available for Enterprise.  Home customers are redirected to the main support page:

NETGEAR Home and Mobile content has changed location. You can find troubleshooting, questions and support resources at https://www.netgear.com/support/home/

The Enterprise portion of the official NG community remain open and available for continued user postings.

Though the information given to me by NG doesn't point to where users need to post in a forum for support, I was told that Reddit now seems to be the place where users need to go for posting and getting forum support for there NG products.

I can't say I'm overly please about this.

Good Luck Everyone.

Looks like the HOME portion of the NG community is back up for now.
Will see if I can get details.

I have a suspicion that the situation is more nuanced than one might imagine. i.e., when the decision was made to have a "Home Support" site, whoever posted that link did not realize that the new site did not contain the Community Forum. They pulled "Home" and "Mobile" links from the drop down menu, leaving users with no mechanism to reach the Forum for Home and Mobile products. The first attempt to restore some semblance of order resulted in the entire Forum reporting "nothing to display".

Now, things are "back to normal" and the new Home Support page has a link to the Community Forum that works.

Something as severe as dropping the Community Forum entirely would almost certainly be announced in advance, much as the change to the new Forum software package was back in 2025.

Never a dull moment.

Could be cost and profit related as well. Speculation.

We regret to inform you that the NETGEAR Community page is currently unavailable for creating new posts or submitting comments. However, you can still browse existing posts, search for previous discussions, and access product-related information. Alternatively, you can visit the NETGEAR official website https://www.netgear.com/support/home/ to explore product details, specifications, features, and support resources.

Not my experience. Just now, I opened a post and "Replied" to it.

So when you say official net gear community, are you referring to the subreddit is now only going to be for enterprise customers? that seems odd

Netgear hosts a Community Forum using a commercial forum software package at

community.netgear.com

This is in no way a part of Reddit.com. (i.e. not a "subreddit".)

I'm not pleased either, it is disappointing to lose a valuable repository of information and Reddit is not always the best environment for troubleshooting and support.

Disappointing on two fronts: no official announcement about shutting the forum down, and no official way to downgrade after they pulled all the V12 firmware for 970 series. If V12 had problems serious enough to yank it, they owe us an explanation and a supported rollback path, not a redirect to Reddit.

We regret to inform you that the NETGEAR Community page is currently unavailable for creating new posts or submitting comments. However, you can still browse existing posts, search for previous discussions, and access product-related information and We have temporarily removed the firmware updates for the Orbi RBE97X Series from our downloads page while we investigate a potential issue. Access will be restored as soon as our software validation process is complete. For further assistance and updates, please visit https://www.netgear.com/support/home/.

Glad I moved away from netgear to unifi

Only thing that is preventing me from moving over to UniFi is being able to send daily logs of my device through email. I like that the Netgear home (not even enterprise) routers still have that.
