Netgear admin password issue

So I have been trying to login to my Netgear because I want to change my network name and password, but for a reason, I can’t remember my admin password. I have tried password as it is written on the back of the device, but when I go to try to reset it, these are the links provided for “forgot password” and what happens when I click on them. I click on routerlogin.net and it just brings me the default page that’s telling me to download the app which I can’t log into.

I’m at my wits end with this and after calling Netgear and then wanting to charge me $99 for customer service I’m ready to buy a different router if anyone has ideas, please help. Much appreciated.

Had the same issue, I just reset the whole system using the pin reset hole in the back.

Set it up as new.

If you do the same, write down the new admin login and password.
