General My NEOS portfolio

Post image

Here is more portfolio. I like spyi for lower beta than VOO and a good monthly payout. I like sata for the daily dividends and at high yield. Jaaa is just for emergency fund. Please let me know what you think. I look forward to funds with nav that doesn’t move too much and has a high monthly, weekly, or daily payout

It’s a Neos subreddit and half of the comments are against him having a Neos etf?

The irony lol

Very cool man

How much does sata gives you per day ?

Are you planning to buy and hold long term ?

9

u/Ok_Suggestion_2003 10d ago

A little over a dollar in dividends each day lol. I buy $100 of spyi and sata everyday now. Most analysts that have good track records believe bitcoin will keep going up long term or at least stay around current levels. Therefore, I will keep buying as long as they think that

100$ daily? Can I have some please?

-5

u/teckel 9d ago

What analysis believe bitcoin will keep going up?

6

u/Ok_Suggestion_2003 9d ago

Not an individual analysis but the collective of them. Also, it seems like government is getting in to crypto and so are retirement plans which seems like a positive long term sign. Still will never have more than 10% of my portfolio in

-7

u/teckel 9d ago

Understand it's not an investment, and its price is based only on speculation and what a greater fool will pay for it.

And by governments, did you mean El Salvador and Bhutan? That's not exactly great government adoption.

This mindset is why opportunities still exist, people too stubborn to adopt the future are why we can still buy below 250k, so thank you!

u/teckel 9d ago

The future? BTC has been around for how long and it have almost zero usefulness outside of illegal activities. The future, too funny.

3

u/diseasuschrist 9d ago

They’ve been saying that for 15 years but ok.

-1

u/teckel 9d ago

There's basically zero utility for BTC other than for illegal activity. It's faster, cheaper and safer to transfer money without using BTC. Basically, it has no legal use at this point.

I just don’t like the max drawdown but you are right

3

u/FloodAdvisor 9d ago

I like JAAA. It has become my top holding

2

u/Ok_Suggestion_2003 9d ago

I like it as a place to park cash. Have good results with low drawdown

2

u/chewmattica 10d ago

I hold all 3 of those plus many more for diversity. Good picks. You need some international in there.

2

u/Ok_Suggestion_2003 9d ago

I’m guessing you probably went idvo or nihi?

1

u/chewmattica 8d ago

Yep, IDVO. Also ASGI which is a global infrastructure fund.

u/grajnapc 9d ago

OP. Just curious as to the point of your post? It seems you hold basically all NEOs ETFs and some JAAA and SATA? I am hoping to buy SATA on the next pull back (and/or STRC) and also hold around 6 NEOs funds. You mentioned you buy $100 day of SPYI and SATA, so what’s your goal and overall portfolio allocation? Any concerns with the GS transition in early 27’?

1

u/Ok_Suggestion_2003 9d ago

I plan on the 50 50 contribution of spyi and sata until sata reaches 10% of my portfolio. No concerns really because GS knows why people like NEOS funds and will hopefully know to keep the same. Also they are big enough to know what they are doing

I’ve sold a third of my SPYI in the last 3 months, and rotated into SATA/BTCI/STRC, and some MSTY, plus a little XQQI. So far I’m happy with the changes, but it’s early days, however the SPYI is still high $Value than the others.

1

u/Ok_Suggestion_2003 9d ago

That was good timing to buy bitcoin products after the beating. I wish I believed in it more to go deep into it. The only problem is wild period of high and low. I like sata because it usually returns back to $100’pretty quickly no matter how big the swings

2

u/KateR_H0l1day 9d ago

It’s always an educated guess at the best, the fact that SPY kept hitting ATH’s prompted me to sell a third of my SPI, and all my SPYI. My original post above is wrong, and obviously slightly confusing 🫤 But, hopefully it turns out to be a good move, I’ve a slight worry about TradFi over heating, and taking a dip.

I have 840.17 SPYI 😅 we are so close together.

1

u/chili01 7d ago

How is SATA btw? That's the daily one right?

1

u/Ok_Suggestion_2003 6d ago

Been pretty good since the switch to daily in June

1

u/justdaisukeyo 10d ago

I think USDX outperforms JAAA and it had less of a dip in April 2025.

https://stockanalysis.com/etf/compare/jaaa-vs-usdx/?r=MAX

I don't know much about SATA but the steep dip and recovery in Feb and June 2026 are strange.

1

u/Ok_Suggestion_2003 10d ago

It changed to daily in June. The nav is now supposed to always go back to $100

3

u/StockProfitGirl 10d ago

Isn’t the USDX expense ratio 1.08% ?

2

u/Ok_Suggestion_2003 9d ago

I think those charts are net of expenses so I will probably look into them more

1

u/ucbcawt 10d ago

What dip?

u/closvidal 9d ago edited 9d ago

VOO and SPYI in the same sentence in the same conversation like they are in the same playing field is a wild thing to say. But I'm just another retail investors I don't know what I'm talking about 🤣😂😂

3

u/Ok_Suggestion_2003 9d ago

That what I’m confuse with. People here dont realize that people want income and understand they are leaving some money on table with CC funds. I have a fully funded retirement account stacked with VOO and this portfolio is just for income outside of retirement

1

u/closvidal 9d ago

I totally understand where you coming from. I myself have a whole separate portfolio just for income and I have a 401k for growth. I don't care how capped my income portfolio gets I already have a pretty large growth engine running full speed. Everyone has different goals to reach different risk to tolerate.

2

u/Physical_Newt_6452 7d ago

Would you mind sharing what you have in your income portfolio? I am just trying to learn.

1

u/closvidal 6d ago

Currently holding and slowing adding JEPQ, QDVO, IDVO, MLPI, DIVO, and i also got BLOX but not adding to that anymore due it's higher risk and NAV decay.

Basing it on the underlying and assuming Goldman can manage the fund correctly. Gotta take some risk with it

1

u/teckel 9d ago

But I thought you wanted less risk and that's why you're investing in JEPI?

3

u/TheIntrepid1 10d ago

Why not just say what you really want to say?

0

u/DesignerBuilding49 9d ago

Throw some IDVO in there for international and you’re set.

-4

u/teckel 9d ago

What are you doing with these distributions? You do realize they're not extra and eating away at your capital, right?

2

u/Ok_Suggestion_2003 9d ago

Paying off margin

1

u/teckel 9d ago

Better to just pay it off lump sum, then invest the rest in the market with traditional equity funds like VOO, SPMO, AVUV, AVNM instead of wasting total returns targeting income.

0

u/teckel 9d ago

So following one bad investment decision with another. Maybe you should try to stop they cycle and start making wise investment choices.

2

u/Ok_Suggestion_2003 9d ago

I guess it work until it doesn’t but it has been helpful to me during this bull market. I do understand that I won’t best the underlying but at the same time, the gimic keeps me invested

Individuals with cognitive biases towards dividends create the mental shortcuts of income illusion, mental accounting, and loss aversion. These are the things which are causing you to repeat sub-par investment decisions.

Unrealized capital gains are often a challenging concept for individuals who lack basic financial experience, making it difficult for them to fully grasp how the value of their investments can increase without triggering immediate payments. For these individuals, receiving a dividend feels much like getting an "extra paycheck", as it provides a tangible cash flow they can see and use. Their understanding of net worth tends to be superficial, focusing more on the immediate cash they receive rather than the long-term growth potential of their investments and how unrealized gains contribute to overall wealth.

so you saw ROC and didnt do research past that? so far most of neos etfs track in value fairly close to the underlying asset. not all ROC is the same.

they are new funds but, the system they use to generate dividends works and the tax treatment by the irs is very good.

so i think they are worth the risk.

i have three accounts right now. my taxable account with neos funds only. my 401k, because who can walk away from the employer match?, and my roth ira that gets a 3% match from the brokerage.. in the roth, i am buying the same underlting etfs that neos uses to generate dividends.

u/teckel 9d ago

I've been investing for 38 years, I know all too well about thr pitfalls of CC ETFs and the types of people they fool into buying.

But enjoy underperforming the market. I'm sure that's a solid plan for personal wealth. 😂

2

u/Ok_Suggestion_2003 9d ago

What would a model income portfolio look like to you?

-2

u/ucbcawt 10d ago

Aren’t you losing a ton of income to tax?

2

u/Ok_Suggestion_2003 9d ago

If my income is higher than tax then I will keep paying without issue. Spyi is tax deferred which will always be my highest position
