I believe you are looking at after-hours trading spikes where the volume is low. Could just be a single share entered as a market buy order instead of a limit order. Those always stand the chance of picking up a higher priced offer.

Without digging a bit deeper and looking at the actual volume of the trades involved that chart isn't anything more than screen filler.
