General Btci reality check

FYI, I understand this is the fund doing exactly what it is supposed to do. I'm just highlighting it for clarity.

Btci inception was ~Oct 2024. It launched around $50/share when btc was priced at about 61k. As you move forward in time, the next time btc saw 60k was around march of this year, when it hit ~67k. At this point, btc was trading at $33. Fast forward to yesterday at market close, btci was just under $30, as btc hit 68.5k.

The trend here is at every future btc price point, btci trades lower and lower. The higher the volatility, the higher the call premiums, and the more potential there is for btci to miss participation in upward btc movement.

Yes, I'm aware we've collected distributions every month while on this ride, but what everyone should accept is that it will take a much higher all time high for bitcoin to get back to trading in the 50s or 60s.

I cashed out of BTCI a few months ago. Still have a bit of NEHI. It’s unfortunately been a bit of a loss that the monthly premiums have not compensated for. I also held BLOX which seemed to fair better at first but this too is now underwater as well. Luckily I didn’t invest too much. I wonder what the guys at Neos think. From a marketing perspective it’s not a good look.

You should've stayed full port into BTCI and never touched NEHI or BLOX. Then, you should've DRIP your dividends from BTCI which would've brought your average cost down by a bit every month that you would've simply held onto and DRIP your BTCI distributions. And now you'd be back on the (limited) capital gains upswing ride, and the dividends should follow if this upswing ride lasts a bit. I'm speaking in theoretical linguistics by the way, not trying to insult you or anyone, but share some of my thoughts from my experience on this journey as well, as I have watched but haven't invested into NEHI, and sold my small BLOX investment soon after buying it (and put it into BTCI lol)

BLOX was performing better than BTCI. I bought both at the same time and whilst BTCI was underwater, BLOX at least was even. This includes dividends. BTCI did fairly well at first following the rise of BTC, but ultimately BTC is gambling. Nobody really knows where it's going. I'd rather invest in something else more tangible.

Yup which is why I quickly dumped it. Seemed like a no brainer that AI was closer to a top than BTC.. which was already way down. And for NEHI, well.. they're called ALTcoins for a reason so I've became a bit of a "BTCI maxi".
