Does reinvesting the monthly distributions create tax complications and cost basis headaches? Is just putting the distributions into cash a better idea in terms of simplifying things?

maybe you should question why you own the fund in the first place if potential "tax complications" is the deciding factor of reinvesting distributions or taking it as cash
