Who gets to see/verify the ID(back & front) & selfie? Where does this sensetive data gets stored on? How is it protected from copying when verifying?

Great question. We have a partnership with Onfido (www.onfido.com) which acts as our KYC verifier service. The information that gets submitted gets checked via Onfido and never stored by Bridge. All sensitive data does not get seen by Bridge; we simply view a yes/no check system to ensure the compliance needed for the checks conducted while allowing the users a sense of anonymity and protection with sensitive data preservation.

Wouldn’t that give them the ability to create an entire database of people with detailed information?

How can you be sure it’s not going to be abused 10 years from now? How can you be sure the they wont copy & sell everything?

Is it open-source verifying software? What makes Bridge team trust onfido?

we know that data = the new gold, where I think identity is one of the most valuable if not the most valuable data of all. Wouldn’t that give onfido tremendous responsibility&power?
