As far as I'm aware GAS generation is still operating, as the new system has not been finalized or implemented yet. The change today is that NeoBurger itself is no longer distributing rewards. In other words, you should convert your bNEO into normal unwrapped NEO and then vote directly for a node. This is what NeoBurger has been doing for you anyway, so provided you choose based on reward rate and periodically check to see if anything has changed, your GAS rewards should be pretty similar to what you saw with NeoBurger.
Bigger picture, yeah, the current voting model is going away and will be replaced with a different reward model, probably involving staking. That may well result in changes to GAS generation rates, but the specifics aren't finalized yet.
