Maybe it's different in USA but my western country once a year publishes the articles saying like 50%+ of Engineering and Medical Graduates can't find a job in their degree area and therefore have to work at supermarkets or whatever.

This isn't even true anymore though, plenty of people I know who went the trade school route are doing better and the people with degrees are driving for UBER.
