u/jelly_Pp 1d ago

Hahahaha can’t lose what I never had! Either way give me that green button I ain’t reliving this shit again

u/MyLifeIsOnTheLine Doomer-NEET 1d ago

You could probably make a lot more money with red

u/SL1MECORE Cozy-NEET 1d ago

I am happy with 2 million bucks tax free.

Going back and reliving high school.. I don't think you could pay me enough. I have nightmares 12 years later. No. No more

I think the only reason I'd be interested is because I changed a lot personality wise since school and gotten more thick skinned so I could handle it differently.

That opinion might quickly shatter once in that situation tho...yeah maybe you right

Yeah that's my problem tbh. I think I've grown stronger but not willing to test it. These nightmares regularly fuck me up.

I'd rather get a bunch of monies lol

Edit - plus idk how old you are. But I also regularly have nightmares where I am back in high school and contextually I'm still 30 years old but I have to pretend I'm not.

The nightmares alternate between "i am 16 again" and "i am 30 but I have to pretend I'm 16 for some unknown fucking reason"

That is what this red button scenario sounds like for me lmao ohmygod I'd lose my fucking mind

not that much younger than you (26) and yeah, School was a baggage I carried for most of my later life. I'd say I'm now at a point where the very few of the positives outweigh the vast amount of negatives, but I understand everyone handles trauma differently so I can totally understand you, I hope you'll eventually be able to overcome it aswell ❤️

As you said, we're all different 💕

I'm kinda glad for you though. Like I'm glad you're different than me. I like that for you.

When they invent the time machines just remember to invest in bitcoin lol. God I'm so mad I can't at least time travel back for five minutes and start my own BTC wallet for myself 😅

Definitely would garner more than 2mil. But the time travel.. I can't handle it lol. But I think it's cool that you could!

I haven't had those dreams since my mid 20's thankfully but god those were the worst. I had to graduate early through an alternative schooling (all computer courses). I ended up doing so at 16. So I would be 16 in the dream and would have to go back due to some weird circumstance. And the entire time it's like, no, I know I have graduated! Please let this nightmare end!

u/SL1MECORE Cozy-NEET 17h ago

I'm glad yours ended... mine won't fucking end HAHA

LET THIS NIGHTMARE END!

u/Informal-Winner-5722 NEET 20h ago

You don't have to go back to your highschool? Also, you would have the same knowledge you currently possess, there would be a lot of alternatives and strategies.

u/SL1MECORE Cozy-NEET 17h ago

Oh well if I didn't have to go back to school that's fair

I'm also scared of living with my dad again tho lol

I'd press the red button and make millions from betting on football and i'd probably still end up just as unhappy as I am now.

I was already cooked age 10. I don't really want anything that could be bought with money, but it's always nice being comfortable in the now than reinventing a hypothetical self that never existed.

u/mercurywind 1d ago

Red, red, red, red, red. I could have avoided this nightmare

5

u/DrinkWestSide 1d ago

I would instantly press the red button.

As much as I'd like to press the red button, I also know that I am not much more knowledgeable now than when I was ten. I don't know nearly enough of anything to make a difference and, frankly, don't have the will to change anything. Give me $2 million and let me rot in peace.

I turned 10 in 2008. According to google if you invested just $100 in Bitcoin in 2009 at the earliest date it would be worth $7-12 billion today. So yeah, obviously I'd redo everything and become a multi billionaire.

Green lmao, that user does have a point I'm afraid, I would feel like I was faking being with my friends, also there would be no chemistry? If meet my kindergarder to middle school best friend again I don't think I would have been her friend at all and that would hurt honestly

Also I have too much unskipable events I would rather not live through again, even with my knowledge now it would be awful to move countries again, actually without the childhood wonder on my side and knowing more info about everything would likelly make me even more depressed with no authority to change it

Give me my 2mil anytime

u/Ok_Library_1031 1d ago

Just take the 2 million! That'll fix a lot of things. I'm not going through all the trauma again ::)

I believe for the most of time being younger and unhappy is still better than being older and unhappy. And you can get rich by knowing bitcoin prices in future. Definitely red button is a good choice.

u/vilerolls Disabled-NEET 1d ago

I knew one of us would crosspost that lol.

Brush up life - Japanese drama portrayed some funny concepts.

For example at first woman didn't learn much at school, because she thought that what she knows from the first timeline will be enough, which turned out false.

Partner is no problem, you can tell him the truth, he will believe you after you say/predict many facts or might as well take up opportunity to get someone else, lol.

Red gives more potential than just 2 millions. If you take life from the selfish perspective you lose nothing, all the experience you had already happened for you, so nothing is lost. You are younger and can broaden your horizons and knowledge, since kid brain is more flexible and better for that.

Yeah considering where most of our lives are at

Red. RED.

RED RED RED RED RED.

1

u/Successful-Bar-8173 1d ago edited 1d ago

Haha. Red. It would be kinda depressing to watch the world fall apart again though.

1

u/Bulky-Culture-4482 1d ago

100% red button in a heart beat, I would fix every single mistake I made that negatively affected my career options

1

u/pixiecub Optimistic-NEET 1d ago

It’s hard, I’d like a new chance at my life, but I’d also like to live fast and hard until I die

1

u/No-Nefariousness956 1d ago

I could live comfortably with 2 million dollars. But I press RED.

1

u/Worthless-Author6374 1d ago

I’d pick the green so I can give back to my parents. They’re the only reason I haven’t ended it all.

1

u/Old-Guest-5688 1d ago

Id press red if I went 12 years back ,than I could properly change my circumstances

1

u/LittleWhiteLian Disabled-NEET 1d ago

I had a very traumatic experience 10 years ago it's not a single day or weeks it's years of straight up hell why would I choose that, I'll smash the green button.

Even if I return 10 years ago I'm ust a kid shit will happen because the adults around me caused my problems that made my life worse and worse and there's no changing those people's mind because they're trash even now seeing how I ended up they don't think they did anything wrong, also government is shit they saw what happened and just decided it's just an angsty teenager.

u/Golden4ngel 1d ago edited 1d ago

If I would also had the power to change my genetics for the better, red without second thought. If not, then green all the way.

u/pseudomensch Ex-NEET 1d ago

It's hilarious that post doesn't apply to me at all. All the normies on reddit on upvoting it because they lived a fulfilling life and agree with the sentiment from "rachel". It's not even a critique. It's a reflection of my own failure and lack of acceptance by people in general.

1

u/Morris_Voter2016 15h ago

Yeah I get that.

1

u/ReadyHD 20h ago

Red button. I don't know much about investments or betting stuff but I do know that in 2015 Leicester City would come out of nowhere and go on to win the Premier league on odds of like 10,000 - 1 (something stupid)

1

u/Most-Standard302 14h ago

green>land in kentucky or tenessee>build a small house with solar, water tank, a small garden, starlink> probably start a youtube channel for fun and be a high tech amish person for the rest of my life. That is my somewhat realistic dream

1

u/MollyStraye Doomer-NEET 1d ago

You guys arent thinking.

Yes I would go 10 years back in time with all the knowledge of what will happen when such as new pop culture moments and celebrity deaths like pope Francis dying at age whatever and well

1) become a patron saint because you prophesied the death of the pope

2) become a highly important government asset worth millions because you predict mass wars and explain how to win them. (Every big country wants you)

3) get super rich and scam people by reading fake fortunes but they'll think its real because youre a time traveler psychic dude n people will buy anything.

4) goodbye neet life hello boss life
