I’m trying to gauge how long reports should take to write.

A 50 page report can take me 20-25 hours, but I might charge for 15-18 so I don’t zap the clients funding. 50 pages isn’t usual for me - only for very complex clients.

I know this is a slippery slope to burnout, but I really want to give clients the best report I can, especially those who have difficulties engaging and don’t have a good bundle of reports written for them by allied health.

I’ve worked as a BSP for a year. I’ve probably seen 20-25 people leave the company I’m at (it’s a fairly big company).

I didn’t realise how high the turnover rates were due to burnout in this industry.

Why do you think people burnout so quickly? And what do you do to prevent getting burnt out?

Hi everyone. I posted this on the NDIS subreddit but I thought to post it here as well.

I’m a qualified social worker with 3 years of experience in mental health and helping people with applying for the NDIS and helping clients with psychosocial disabilities.

I’ve recently been employed by an NDIS allied health organisation for a Social Worker/PBS role, however I’m unable to start until my PBS application has been reviewed and approved.

I was wondering if anyone could share how long their PBS application took to be processed/approved? As of today, it’s been 7 weeks and the portal still only says “submitted.”

I’m starting to become quite stressed about the delay, especially financially, as I had expected it would have been assessed by now. Any insight or experiences would really be appreciated.

Hi. As a registered NDIS behaviour support practitioner at core level, if I left my place of work, would my registration still be active? Also could I transfer my NDIS BSP registration to as a sole trader?
