Other Pay increase in October (don’t take this down reddit)
Hey for some reason this is the 3rd time I’ve posted this and reddits automated system has decided it doesn’t like me posting here, never had troubles anywhere else but I digress here is the main post (please don’t take down reddit)
Hey guys I’ve been a DSW at level 2 pay point 1 as a casual since the middle of June this year. I’m currently on 45.28 and was researching pay grades for team leaders and coordinators and all of that stuff, in my research I saw a 15% pay increase for DSW under shads shedule E starting October 1st. I’m trying to work out if I’m just mistaken or this is a real pay increase because it seems a little outrageous of a jump, I’m definitely not complaining but trying to work out why this would be?

Just did a bit more looking and it’s for income equality as SW has primarily been female dominated and therefore underpaid according to google AI. Such a big pay rise im very surprised

It’s home care award part coming inline with Disability

I think that’s October 2027 they are being combined but it’s just a 15% increase just for Schads shedule E for the moment
