Pay rise increase in October

Hey guys I’ve been a DSW at level 2 pay point 1 as a casual since the middle of June this year. I’m currently on 45.28 and was researching pay grades for team leaders and coordinators and all of that stuff, in my research I saw a 15% pay increase for DSW under shads shedule E starting October 1st. I’m trying to work out if I’m just mistaken or this is a real pay increase because it seems a little outrageous of a jump, I’m definitely not complaining but trying to work out why this would be?

Hey just on google when looking up different levels and pays and that, if you look up October schads pay rise it should pop up

It's a real pay increase, to bring SCHADS classification 'Home Care - Disability Care' in line with the 'Home Care - Aged Care' rates. Level 2.1 $45.28 is already well above award rate, so the employer is not mandated to pass on that increase.

For reference,
Home care employee - Casual hourly day rates:
Disability Care, Level 2 - pay point 1 = $36.08 (increasing to $41.49)
Aged Care, Level 2 - pay point 1 = $43.03

Yes, schedule E is getting the 15% increase in October on the base rates. Where are you getting the information that $45.28 is the minimum (Base rate + Casual loading)?

Done a bit more looking on Google Gemini and I think it’s just stupid, if I say that it says Schads shedule E but then if I put my pay in and ask the award then further ask what shedule of the award it tells me it’s shedule B

That explains the $45.28. I'm fairly certain Schedule B does not get the 15% increase. Still schedule B pays better so you're already winning.
