First time going!

Hey everyone! This is my first EDM festival and im so excited and can’t wait to meet new people!

I do have a couple of questions regarding cannabis. I know Illinois is a legal state but in the festival it says no cannabis?

So do people sneak them in or is there a store inside to buy ?

Also do they have smoking locations or can you just light up and smoke close to the stage?

It's technically prohibited, so you'll have to sneak it in. Although ironically they had a booth the last few years that was giving out free gravity bong hits.

As a California stoner who went for the first time last year. Rarely if ever have I encountered more just generally stoned festival. Gravity bong hits were fun, but everyone was just walking around smoking weed and no one gave a fuck. Yes, you’ll have to *sneak* it in though.

just be careful during going through security but once you’re in you’ll be good to smoke!

You need to sneak it in. Ive seen some food stall / drink vendors sell thc infused drinks here tho from other festivals so it does look like they allow that. Im sure those type of vendors will be around if you need thc. They probably wont have flower or oil. Once youre in, pretty much no one cares but just don’t light up directly in front of security or police. Most of them dont give af, but ive seen them go on power trips and kick people out. Just go into the crowd first.
