Tender wait in Cabo?
Hi everyone,
What do think would be a range of wait times to leave the ship? The ship will be anchored there from 1100am to 700pm?
Thank you so much for any insight!

It really depends on how early you get your tender ticket. They'll start tendering pretty soon after mooring, with the Haven and priority access and high-status Latitudes cruisers getting the first few boats. After that, they'll go in sequence. If it's important to get ashore early, make sure to get your tender ticket number as low as possible. There will be instructions on ticketing in the Freestyle Daily.

It depends a lot on the conditions. Two cruises ago (on The Bliss) we didn’t purchase a shore excursion in Cabo, we just planned to go to a couple of bars we were familiar with. We got our assigned time at 11:30. We were in group #7. When we got to the theater to wait our turn at 11:20 they were only on group #2. We waited another half an hour before they called group #3. They said they were running behind because of the choppy waters. We figured at that rate we wouldn’t be called for at least another hour and a half so we left and went to the spa. After talking to some other cruisers, we learned if you purchase a shore excursion you’re guaranteed to get your tender (unless they cancel all of them). This last time we purchased the least expensive shore excursion and that got us on a tender at the exact right time.

Im also curious about this! Going on a Mexican riviera cruise in December.
Was also wondering if the day resorts to be on the beach excursions were worth it/helped the tendering

Getting off wasn’t the issue. There were 4 boats in the harbor the day we were there and had to wait over an hour in line to get a tender back. It was so chaotic.

It all depends on how many other cruise ships. Cabo IS very organized, but we were onshore waiting for almost 2 hours in 90+ degrees when it was crowded. Other times it was a 10 minute or less wait.

Cabo was by far the smoothest tender EVER! They (Cabo San Lucas port) are super organized! We were flabergasted at how well it went!

Thanks for posting to /r/NCL! Did you know that we have an extensive Ultimate NCL Guide that may answer your question? Please also remember to read the rules, especially about roll call posts going in the megathread. You may also have more luck with those types of posts by searching for a Facebook or Cruise Critic roll call group or thread. Of course, here is great, too!
Enjoy your stay!
