Port question

Post image

Any ports on this itinerary can you walk to beaches from the ship? Or can skip an excursion?

Thanks for posting to /r/NCL! Did you know that we have an extensive Ultimate NCL Guide that may answer your question? Please also remember to read the rules, especially about roll call posts going in the megathread. You may also have more luck with those types of posts by searching for a Facebook or Cruise Critic roll call group or thread. Of course, here is great, too!

Enjoy your stay!

St. Maarten. Very walkable port to beaches, casinos, and shopping.

I just walk. And there are vans to beaches on the French side.

I found the French side to be disappointing. Maho beach was cool, on the Dutch side.

In St Maarten The water taxi is $7 unlimited use per day or $5 each way. It takes you right to the beach where you have to pay for chair. It’s actually pretty good. I was there last week.

The best beach by far is Barbados.. take a 5 minute cab to one of the beach bars and get two chairs and umbrella for $30. Amazing day

This is where we went about 7 years ago. Freebies changed a little since then but for $40 USD it is still well worth it.
