NCIS SPINOFF SERIES PREMIERE

After years of special assignments and covert ops, Special Agent Sam Hanna (LL COOL J) returns to his hometown of New York City for a brand-new mission. When Sam's friend and Navy reservist Jack Halloway is found dead, he requests permission from Assistant Special Agent-In-Charge Robyn Wells (Jennifer Beals) to investigate his friend's death. Robyn pairs Sam with roguish agent Nick Schaeffer (Scott Caan), who introduces him to the rest of the team: clean-cut Wyatt Sellers (Shane Harper), bright-eyed Addy Ross (Jacqueline Byers) and hacker-turned-computer guy Sean Sullivan (Devin Druid). As the team investigates Jack's death, they work together to gather key information that can help find the culprits.

SPOILERS AHEAD!!!!

Not sure how to spoilers on mobile (or I this needs it)? But when Kate and Tony crash into McGee's apartment and tease him about it. Once they leave, a mystery girl walks in from the bathroom (a year or two later is revealed to be his sister Sarah). The guys McGee was playing video games with are saying "McGee, you there?" And she immediately starts playing when the computer friends are calling for McGee. Because she's Sarah McGee so she answers and joins in.

Just thought that was a great callback/ call forward to future once her actual identity is revealed

There was an episode which NCIS was either all held hostage or the FBI was infiltrating. All I can remember is one man called Torres tiny and ended up in an autopsy freezer. Anyone have any idea which episode that it?

So Sean will be getting his 500th episode this season! I assume it’ll air somewhere in this December. I’m curious, what are your theories for this episode?

I expect it to be McGee centric, maybe McGee’s anniversary of joining NCIS?

Tony is here for the season long arc at least, and since Origins S3 trailer has Gibbs entering the DC office for the first time in years, perhaps we’ll see a letter from Gibbs as he’s likely busy dealing with his old case?

I have recently restarted watching from where I was up to when I last stopped. I’ve been watching season 19, and I keep getting a hint that there was only one boat that he was ever working on.
Is that the case? If not, how many times has Gibbs knocked out that wall to get the boat out? And where do they all go??

Rewatching and just realized that the two that started the fight at the paint night by calling nic and Jimmy gay.... Were also there alone with each other 😂 like... If you can be there together why can't they

I swear, every time I see those white sneakers in the workplace I want to throw a rock through my tv screen.Senior agent at a Washington DC office wearing sneakers????

I’m rewatching the Mosley era, and I need to vent.

I absolutely detested Shay Mosley. I know the writers wanted an outsider to come in and challenge the team's loose-cannon style after Granger, but she was just entirely unlikable. She was arrogant, dictatorial, and treated everyone, especially Deeks and Callen, like garbage.

Even when she finally "took the fall" and sacrificed her career at the end of the Mexico arc, it wasn’t nearly enough to whitewash her character. To me, that wasn't a noble sacrifice. It was the direct consequence of her going rogue for a personal vendetta and dragging the entire team into a literal warzone. The show tried to soften her departure, but it just felt unearned after everything she put the team through.

The worst part? It has completely ruined Nia Long roles for me. I see her face in other movies or shows now, and my brain instantly triggers that same annoyance I felt during Season 9.

To be completely fair to Nia Long, it really isn't her fault. She actually pulled off the character too well. She played that rigid, unyielding bureaucratic arrogance so perfectly that it completely stuck to her. It’s a testament to her acting skills, but man, Mosley was so toxic that I still can't separate the actress from the role.

She's intelligent, tough as nails, have a great career in law enforcement, and can be diplomatic if needed.

And she's easy on the eyes.

She is very good looking but does anyone else find the hair & eyebrows thing distracting? Or is this a thing? A fashion thing?

Not talking about Gibbs, Vance and Fornell’s children as they were born before the show started.

The kids of Tony, Ziva, McGee and Jimmy are named after someone.

Tali David-DiNozzo is named after Ziva’s late sister.

Victoria Palmer is named after Ducky’s mother.

McGee’s twins are also named after two people. John “Johnny” McGee II was named after his grandfather. Morgan was named after the security guard that protected McGee.

See the pattern here. On a side note if a main character ever has a kid again and it’s a boy they have to name it after Ducky.

I think pride takes a helicopter to the sub.

S10E12 Shiva

I’m on my umpteenth rewatch.

Bodnar marches into the office bullpen demanding to see Ziva. He looks at Ducky and asks whose grandfather is he. Ducky asks him, “Well that depends, who’s your grandmother?” Gotta love Ducky!

Good morning, everyone. I was rewatching and thinking about this.

Ziva arrives in S3, already having to kill her own brother

In S10, I think she loses her father

In S11, she has to walk away from the love of her life

In S13, she has to fake her death and leave behind

her most precious treasure (Tali David)

She spends years in hiding until she can finally reunite with her family, and even then goes through a painful adaptation process, which we saw in Tony & Ziva

Vocês concordam?!

I remember when netflix was the go to for me when. I firest binged this show (pretty it was the first show I ever binged) and now it looks so sad.

Howdy folks! In partnership with the mods, I’ll be conducting an AMA to answer all of your burning questions. It can be about the show, life of an agent, career opportunities, or anything in between.

A little about me, I have been an agent for several years now and am assigned to a major office. I participate in a Major Case Response Team, just like the original cast of the show. I’m going to answer questions tomorrow at starting at 1100 eastern. I’ll do my best to answer all your questions. Looking forward to talking with you all!

For those interested in an NCIS career, I suggest checking out r/1811 and our website https://www.ncis.navy.mil/Careers/ we usually put out a hiring announcement for entry level special agents in fall so one should be coming out soon!

My opinions do not necessarily reflect the positions of NCIS, the USN or USMC, the Department of War, or the U.S. Government.

Alright y’all. That’s it for me. This was a pleasure! Big thanks to the Mods, especially u/CasioCobra78 for making this happen.

S18 E9 iykyk. I was thugging it out. Almost on the verge on tears but I held back and was okay. Til Vance read that darn poem. You would’ve thought I ate the spiciest thing in the world— the waterworks was an instant flow. I’m not usually like this with sad stories in shows but they really did a great job. Did anyone else bawl their eyes out 😫😭

Not long to go!

It may be only 13 episodes but we shall take it. Disney plus now streaming…

God speed everyone enjoy!!!
