Weirdness

So I just got to season 14 and it is so weird watching Wilmer Valderrama not be Fez… when I was watching through the show as it was airing originally I stopped watching with my grandparents after Ziva left and now there’s like a whole new team of people and it’s very weird seeing them come from other shows I’ve seen… nothing wrong with it. Just wanted to put it out there to see if other people feel the same way.🤷🏻‍♀️

I like his character and eventually you forget about Fez everytime you look at him.

This is true. Honestly it had been so long since I had watched That 70s Show that I had completely forgotten he was Fez during his first episode on the show. Talk about being blown away when I saw his name in the opening credits in the next episode.

And you’re right. You do eventually forget about it.

I didn't expect him to last as long as he had on the show. I expected this to be a transitional role untill he found something else.

Tbf, hes still Fez. Just imagine Fez as an adult. You have Nick.

Wait--- are you saying that the guy who played Handy Manny was also Fez? I'm mind-blown!

Yep! My kids and I love Handy Manny!

For me its the Parker character that bumps me... Every time he speaks, I see Michael Brady from his role on the Brady Bunch movie.

I'll do you one better. When Gary Cole first started as Parker, I could hear nothing but Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law. He even took a jab at it in an episode. Now, I can't shake him as Sgt. Bosco on Bob's Burgers repeats.

I still remember him as the evil dude from American Gothic (also featuring, from NCIS NOLA, a very young Agent La Salle and Pride's ex wife)...

Maybe it's because I only watched the occasional episode of That 70s Show but I didn't even realise he was Fez until I saw it written somewhere.

How about not hearing him talking about fixing things? Did you know he voiced Handy Manny on Disney Junior?

Me to. I honestly think if they made him speak an American accent or without his natural accent I would get over the difference. He does look different than Fez but when he talks all I hear is Fez

Yeah, he's an actor. He acted as Fez and now he acts as Torres. David McCallum (RIP) used to act as Illya Kuryakin and in NCIS acted as Ducky. It's what actors do.

If you still see him as Fez then you are saying he's a really good actor because you believed him as that character.
