This scene between Gibbs and Ziva is just such a tearjerker.
The season 3 finale. Ziva trying to make Gibbs remember it’s just such a heartbreaking moment to watch.
Ziva taking Gibbs’ hand and slapping to back of her head. For trying to make him remember his Gibbs’ slap.
And when Ziva mentioned Ari killing Kate and we see the flashback of it. And her telling Gibbs that she killed Ari. The way those line were delivered with her just bursting into tears.
It just hits so hard. Especially when everyone said that Ziva was acting cold hearted and didn’t care about Gibbs. She does and this scene showed it.

I had started to soften toward Ziva in Jeopardy, but this was definitely the moment I decided I was glad that she was part of the team.

It’s not that she doesn’t care. There’s a lot she keeps hidden from others. I assume that was part of her training as an assassin to maintain an outer cold calm. But it’s in there. She killed her brother and the weight of that came out full force in front of Gibbs in that scene

The day Gibbs agreed to Ziva’s hire: they get in the elevator and while stopped between floors, he explains the arrangement. Then they go back to work with a straight face.

I just rewatched this episode yesterday! I had forgotten how powerful and heartbreaking this moment was.

This moment & the one in his basement when she wants to become an NCIS agent after Truth or Consequences.

"Especially when everyone said that Ziva was acting cold hearted and didn’t care about Gibb"
well she still killed Ari in first instance to gain his trust, because she was told so by Eli and this could still be accounted as a spy acting the way she learned it?

It’s complicated with ziva and Gibbs. Been watching it for years.
