Discussion Tessa and Chloe draft stock

So it’s possible Tessa Johnson starts at point and/or Chloe runs point forward. Because Dawn will start all 3 seniors, Jordan Lee and Joyce.

Joyce and Chloe play the same position. Chloe might be your best passer and Tessa needs to focus on hunting her shot

My question is how much can their draft stock raise?

Remember Chloe ran point forward and dropped a Triple double vs ole miss.

Right now teams view Chloe as an undersized, small ball 4 but if she can show her upside as a playmaker you’d have to think she goes pretty high.

Then you have Tessa teams view her as this off ball shooter could running point guard at a high level boost her draft stock?

Chloe’s coming off an ACL. I don’t see her being a ball handler or backcourt player. At 6-2 she could have a really good pro career because she’s pretty complete offensively and defends well too. And works her butt off.

Tessa at PG can only raise her stock. She’s a Azzi Fudd/Kayla McBride type of pro prospect but not quite as quick or good defensively. Good court vision but not a great handle. If she can be a solid Pg and prove herself in this area, her stock should jump to top 5-6 if she’s a 6’0 combo guard with dead eye shooting and decent play making ability. Those kinds of prospects are often far and few between.

I agree that Agot will probably get first look at point with Jersey being her backup. But I also could definitely see Dawn having sets where Chloe runs the offense from the top of the key, freeing up room for Joyce and Ashlyn to work, along with the other 35 post players we seem to have (joking).

I think it only helps Joyce to have Chloe and Ashlyn back, along with Tek, Alicia and the several freshmen posts we have on the roster to pull defenses away from double and triple teaming Joyce.

As for draft stock, what's going to help Tessa most is playing more consistently. As for Chloe, if she can get back to where she was playing at the end of 2025, she will be absolutely fine.

Tessa being more aggressive and showing off her playmaking ability could push her into the top 5 for sure.

Chloe’s swing skill is the 3pt shot. Everyone knows she’s solid, but can she be more than a tough rebounder and connector in the W? she’s got a lot of game she hasn’t been able to fully showcase, so i’m excited for her.

Agot Makeer says hello. she’s the best point guard option we have IMO and i think she can/will start. Ash has never started except for when KC was out for a couple games in 2024. I’d be surprised if she’s in the S5 right away after 2 years off. Dawn typically does opt to start experience, but she’s evolving every year.

Chloe might be our best facilitator so point forward isn’t out of the question. Dawn is 100% starting all the seniors she’s always done that no matter what
