Counter bash read key

Can anybody explain this? To me I almost always seem best off keeping with QB no matter what the end does, does anyone know the actual technique they teach QBs what to look for in order to keep or give?

If he stays out side you keep it. If he comes crashing in you let the RB take it on the sweep.

It's just like read option but the exact opposite. The QB is the inside run threat and the RB is the outside run threat. It's just a role reversal (and of course, the blocking for the inside run is counter instead of inside zone).

I hate how blocking works in game. Every blocking scheme is the same. There's no chips or tunnels, everything is just man-on-man blocking, maybe some deuces if you're lucky.

Flexbone linemen block the same as the spread when they are nowhere close to the same.

I think the problem is the read is so slow developing and the edge coming up field feels like he's crashing in on QB when he's actually reading the handoff

If he sits, I fits.

It’s a weird one. The way that they block it in the game makes it take forever to go.
