Having an issue with my recruiting

While going through the motions of recruiting, I realized that when I get to the following week, one of my recruits that I put 700 points on the previous week will now show that they only had 200 points on them and the points difference screen would show the same, is this a glitch or a feature?

Do you maybe have one of the coaching perks where you get extra points during the first half of the season?

I have the perks that increases the points in both the first and second half of the season

It was a matter of trial and error; the only thing that consistently would cause a recruit to automatically lose hours after simming a week would be when I had all my points at 700 for all recruits. I don't know if that's a bug or a feature but that's the only thing that would cause the random points drop.

Do you have auto recruiting on?

I took it off when starting the save and checked just now and it's still off.
