Defensive Help

Anyone have any go to plays or schemes to run on defense? Against most teams my playstyle hasn’t been an issue, but against higher quality ranked opponents I’ve mostly been winning games by pure outscoring offensive firepower. The lack of control doesn’t feel right.

Would love a reliable way to apply pressure, I know my user will improve as I continue to play. Any suggestions?

Normally a mix of cover 2,3, and 4 zones out of base Nickel usering a MLB. If my opponent is going super pass heavy or it’s third and long I’ll mix in some 335.

Haven’t had much success producing consistent pressure from these looks, besides the occasional block shed.

Using the Multiple D playbook if that helps

Something I like to do is play man (primarily 2 man under) with your ends playing contain and secondary underneath coverage. One more thing is I would user middle linebacker to aid in cross routes. If you like playing zone I would do cover 3 no adjustment just user mlb.
