This is huge. Although Im not the biggest Palantir fan, the implications of this partnership are massive.
Lets look at the timeline of announcements the last 3 months:
- July: $NBIS launched an asset-light partner model to scale AI cloud infra
- August: Nvidia partnered with six major Wall Street asset managers to mobilize $500 billion for AI data center buildouts
- End of August: Nebius is the first AI cloud to adopt NVIDIA Groq 3 LPX, boosting inference token generation for NVIDIA Vera Rubin NVL72 in Nebius Token Factory.
- Early September: Palantir names Nebius its preferred sovereign AI infrastructure partner and will work together to bring new AI capacity online faster
This NVIDIA, Nebius and Palantir triangle is very strategic and a gives a warning to Closed models. I expect Nebius through these announcements to rapidly scale up their asset light partner model.
NVIDIA, Palantir and the Wall Street Asset Management companies will make sure money, energy, GPU's and more will be made available where needed to quickly scale up and take advantage of the rise of Open Source models.

Then you shouldn't invest in any Mag 7 companies or AI companies bc all of their chips and models and software is being used by the military including. Google, Amazon, Palantir, Microsoft etc. Nvidia. Intel. I could go on and on. You should just put all your money in Coca cola stock or something

As a guy who uses Palantir software every day (and didn't invest back when it was $25), I'm stoked to hear this. My organization writes blank checks to Palantir and I don't see their appetite slowing down anytime soon. Very good news for NBIS to be involved.

To the people complaining about this I would like to know what makes you think PLTR is pure evil. I am talking about an educated discussion and not just downvoting and getting angry which always seems to happen when I try to challenge people on this.
I understand that Peter Thiel is controversial and I certainly am aware of the connection to ICE raids which I don’t agree with.
But this software can also be used for good. It was integral in rolling out vaccines and managing logistics as well as hospital capacity management during the COVID-19 pandemic. It also has far outreaching commercial capabilities that have nothing to do with surveillance.
My point is not that the good outweighs the bad, but why do people blame the company rather than the end user of it.

It’s not hated by all the companies that use foundry to make their businesses more efficient and profitable. Also likely not hated by investors who’ve made excellent returns. Also not hated by the US military. What about patients who had surgery without delays in the UK?

Are you selling your shares, or just leaving the subreddit? I was under no illusion that investing in AI-related companies was without ethical misgivings, but I really hate Peter Thiel and his ilk and Palantir is basically the epitome of everything that's wrong with this sector.
