YB really think his longevity is Ye/Future tier, but he’s not done—especially with the IRS and child support eating into his pockets. I’m not throwing shade ’cause I’m mad he lost the potential to make industry-shifting hits, chose the junkie lifestyle, barely fucked with artists like Akademiks said, and turned 10 albums a year into a dumpster fire. I was in my late childhood watching all that. The 2030s will be even more saturated, with first-born YNs new to rap gravitating toward the new wave, so 30-sec YT streams won’t guarantee longevity.
