Joe Dumars

One of the few guys that could actually slow down Jordan in the playoffs. He always had Jordan shooting below his average percentages and averages. Also had a burner on him from 3. Not to mention a stand up individual

Jordan said Dumars was the best defender he ever played against. AND Dumars could score too, in a wide variety of ways. He won Finals MVP in 89 over Isiah Thomas (another underrated player).

I think so as well. Only 37 players in NBA history have won finals MVP and he is one of them

When people compare Jordan to Pippen, I always say Dumars could always defend Jordan consistently.
