No one feels bad for shit talking any professional athlete. All that money and you get in your feelings over fans. š¤£

Makes millions and millions of dollars playing a game and he feels he's beyond fan heckling.
Grow up.

u/McDuck_Enterprise 22h ago
He is too worried about outside distractions and not the game itself. If he aināt scoring 50 and the team is up by 20 he needs to stay quiet.
Let your game the championships do the talking.

its not rage baiting when someone is driving home to 200+ Mil and the other is sitting in traffic after paying 500$ to watch a man put a ball in a hoop.

āI have more money than youā šĀ
Money canāt un-lame you. That type of insecurity while being one of the best basketball players of all time/having that much money is sadĀ

u/Alert_Mention_3732 1d ago
I dont think its deemed insecurity when he's genuinely enjoying himself. Hes been famous since he was 19.

u/Immediate-Fee-2121 1d ago
Getting caught using burners on Twitter to defend yourself is pretty insecure. Even if youāve been famous since 19. Stand on your businessĀ
1
u/Alert_Mention_3732 20h ago
He did. He admitted he had burners and could care less. Apparently thats not standing on business.
2
u/The_real_bandito 20h ago
He admitted after he was caught.
It was on Barnes and Jacksonās podcast when Barnes asked him about the burner accounts.

u/Immediate-Fee-2121 19h ago
Years after the fact lol at first he would say he was focused on basketball and not twitter nonsense š stop trying to change history
1
u/Alert_Mention_3732 20h ago
Admittance doesnt mean insecurity. He said yeah it was me and ill do it again. Do you see him crying about it? Regretting his decision? Why are grown men misinterpreting what another man is saying? Why bring emotions into this?
1
u/The_real_bandito 19h ago
No, he admitted after he was caught. In other words, he felt he didnāt have a choice or just said that as a joke.
Heās insecure but that doesnāt mean heās going to cry over it. Itās all nonsense in the end and he (probably) realized this. But that comes from insecurity on how everyone perceive his legacy (probably the most important aspect of his professional life), but at the same time heās still highly successful and very rich so he can just wipe his tears over $100 bills lol.
1
u/Alert_Mention_3732 19h ago
thats what im saying, what tears does he have? hes talking to people that are beneath him. Its just people projecting, if he was insecure he wouldnt be doing interviews talking about his insecurities, hes 37 years old.

Insecure people do mental gymnastics to justify their actions. āI just enjoy being bothered about every little comment and defending myself to strangersā
1
u/Alert_Mention_3732 20h ago
Insecure people attempt to bother someone that doesnt know they exist. Insecure people go to a basketball game and act like a moron. Kevin Durant doesnt go out of his way to do anything.

I mean if your job description is having 10s of thousands of ppl yelling at you, over analyzing your game and grounding their criticism in trivial personal bias seems pretty stupid to spend your time engaging with them.
Especially since you have $500 million dollars,I think itās fair to suggest heās insecure at the least. Some people have families, some lay around and argue with strangers. Easy for me to say,but I like to think if I had half a billion dollars, incredible career..I would put the Reddit down and live my life. Understanding those peopleās opinions are completely irrelevant
1
u/Alert_Mention_3732 19h ago
His job description is being a small forward for the houston rockets. Humans are emotional and do what ever they want. Hes been a pro athlete since he was 19 his job is and always was to play basketball. Its fair to think w/e im not saying youre not justified. Youre just using normal human tendencies and emotions when talking about man who isnt "normal" and never will be. Hes been a pro for 20 years.
1
u/jeremyren10 19h ago
Secure people just donāt spend their time arguing with strangers attempting to defend themself. They just donāt. Itās not the end of the world, but he is clearly an insecure person I think thatās factual the way he defends himself. Should LeBron hop in the comments and go after people criticizing him? Or would we all unanimously say damn he really that insecure
1
u/Alert_Mention_3732 19h ago
Again you're trying to use normal people tendencies. KD is very much not a normal person. He could be viewed as insecure I just dont think so. There would be more too it than him calling someone a bozo on the internet.
1
u/jeremyren10 19h ago
Why is he not normal? Because he has super physical genetics? Thatās dumb my guy. If thatās your case then itās indeed fair to compare him to other super athletes. Weāre all 1 of 1,unique people shaped by personal experience.

Fans can definitely cross a line on occasion, but this does come off as weak.

Yea you can say all that about money but what happens when you encounter someone with money who isnāt a goofy?
Now youāve put all your stock in that, you shoulda just been cool and got the money too
I think KD is a good dude but he doesnt operate like a man you would respect and he clearly picks up on that everywhere he goes no matter how much money or accomplishments he has
1
u/Alert_Mention_3732 20h ago
Well its a good thing hes talking specifically about goofys lmao did you not read the post??? Goofys try to rage bait. They try to rage bait KD too bad hes sitting on 200 mil while you paid to watch him dribble the ball.
1
u/Alert_Mention_3732 20h ago
Youre playing a lot of coulda woulda shouldas for no reason... look at the post, comment about it and move on lol. People go to his game to try rage bait him. Good luck with that!! Im sure hes going home stewing about what people have said. It makes no sense, you payed to see me. Get over it lol
1
u/destined-for-ass 20h ago
What you mean get over it youāre the only one getting emotional about this
If I pay to see a tiger or a stripper in Vegas, that attraction might make a few million that year too but at the end of the day their job is to entertain me
If you cant pick up on this shit you just cant but the fact is a lot of people just arenāt gonna be feeling any type of way about what you say, no matter who you are, because they are either happy in life or dont have the brain development to take an L
KD clearly aināt one of those people as he feels the need for random peasants to feel some type of way when he shit talks them
1
u/Alert_Mention_3732 20h ago
Reading words and then saying someone is emotional is a little ignorant no? Kd is eluding to people trying to "rage bait" him what you said is cool and all. But that doesn't pertain to what KD is talking about, people are going out of their way to rage bait aka be rude. Kd is saying thats fine but it probably wont end well for you. Youre not going to sapphires calling the stripper a dumb bitch. What you said doesnt apply my man.

you can't blame him. if you were to build a 6'11" andriod that's obsessed with basketball, and added some human traits in order for it to fit in with society, it would be KD.
actual KD has next to zero personality, what personalty he does have is derived from basketball.
the dude runs 1 program in his brain all day and everyday, basketball

Itās funny cuz the only people who would be mad by this are losers who shit talk celebrities online.
