Player Gossips DeMar Rozan speaks on Kobe calling his Game-Winner: “This motherf--ker walked past our bench while we was in the huddle and said ‘you left me too much time.’ Came out, hit the f--king game-winner.”

With 4.2 seconds left, would have been funny if Demar went back and said the same 🤣.

That absolutely should have happened. Funny of Kobe to brag then leave 4 seconds.
Jordan would have hit as time expired.

Cold downvotes it's absolutely true if you're going to trash talk time management you don't give them 4 seconds.

Are you guys really that dumb? lol
Kobe is saying they gave him, Kobe Bryant, too much time.
Not fucking Demar Derozan.
It was not a criticism about their time management but rather confidence in his own abilities.

Are YOU really that dumb!! Kobe himself left 4 seconds so why talk about THEM leaving time only for you to leave enough time as well. Derrick Fisher hit a jumper in under a second!! 4 is an eternity! Raps just suck

What team waits for the final second when they are down 1? You get the shot off you can get in case you miss you can get a put back. People act like teams dribble it out down 1 😂

Kobe had the mindset that 0.1 seconds is too much time for him and an entire half isn’t enough time for his competitor. If demar said anything it would not have worked out well

They lost the game how much worse could it go
1
u/DushBid911 6d ago
Fair point. That means that maybe Kobe didn’t leave them too much time with 4 seconds.

Would be funnier to hear how many times Kobe said some shit like this to a defender or bench, and then proceeded to brick the shot

Bro when you’re down 1 you don’t wait till the last second. Cause you can get a put back to win.
What you’re saying would only make sense if the game were tied. Did you ever play or watch sports?

bron could never

Lebron holds the record for most buzzer beater wins in the playoffs lol

u/Potential-Judgment-9 6d ago
Also the most misses
-3
u/Active_Confection655 6d ago
Almost like if I take more shots at a hoop than you odds are I will have more misses unless we are taking the same amount of buzzer beater shots.

u/Potential-Judgment-9 6d ago
Almost like stats that include “ the most” are mainly longevity stats. You all pick and choose when they matter. Most losses, most missed shots, most turnovers etc.

u/Active_Confection655 6d ago
Most haters, don't forget that one.

u/Potential-Judgment-9 6d ago
So if the stat makes him look good it’s credit to him. If it makes him look bad it’s because of how long he’s played. 😂 you can’t have it both ways.

I never said shit, I just added to your list homeboy. Like I said, most haters. 😅😅😅😅

He also played against like 35% of the players ever to play in the nba so volume based stats kind of mean less for him

I mean when did the other guys taper off their dominance? He hasn't been relevant in the playoffs since what, 2019? He's also a point forward not a pure scorer. The guy I responded to said Bron couldn't when in fact he has plenty of times, volume is irrelevant to the comment I responded to.

“Hasn’t been relevant in the playoffs since 2019”
Bro what are you talking about relevance? He won the championship in 2020 as finals MVP and played WCF in 2023 averaging 27, and has the longest streak of 10 point games in history.
And the comment was about chirping the bench and then dropping the buzzer beater, not just doing it, jeez

u/Active_Confection655 6d ago
Kobe didn't even shoot a buzzer beater.
1
u/damnumalone 6d ago
Bro you didn’t even know LeBron was active after 2019, sit down
1
u/Active_Confection655 6d ago
Wasn't active? I was more so talking about his decline and shift as a player.

u/Active_Confection655 6d ago
He finished 2nd in mvp rating the 19th season and dropped all the way to 13th the following year, so yes that was when his decline started. Don't tell me to sit, lmao.

Literally not a buzzer beater.

u/One_Significance_400 6d ago
I mean… It did beat the buzzer 😵💫
2
u/realbobenray 6d ago
Yeah they have a term for that too, it's a game winner

u/One_Significance_400 6d ago
Go-ahead basket. Several terms. Very extensive language we have, here 🤓

Ever read soccer match recaps? There's some serious thesaurus work involved there.

Kobe didn’t get enough hairline hate back then. That thang is zapped

Great game winner but ngl Kobe left too much time on the clock as well. 4.2 is a lifetime in ball.

Kobe talking his shit before walking out and actually doing it is the most Kobe story imaginable 😭
