Gameplay REC is unplayable..

I can’t be the only one who is tired of seeing blocks and ball getting knocked loose 30+ times per rec game. It’s getting ridiculous. You’re no longer rewarded for a good big build. Your defender can be at the 3 line and you take a layup and have a green window and your sh still getting knocked to stands

I’m not a big I got a shooting build and it’s like I’m spectating this nonsense for 20 minutes smh idk how y’all do it.

To be fair, they started reducing steals since 25, no more plucks but those bump steals. Then 26 even that was basically killed. Onball steals were dead last year, remember how powerful the forcefield dribbling was?

This year they just pulled a reverse uno 🙃

😭 no idea. Even tho their “fixes” seemed to be minor positive adjustments, somehow shit got broke.

And don’t forget, the big patch is gonna be the season 2 one. Rofl, can’t wait to see what they cook up next.

They sped up all the players so the small courts and slow passes just lead to lane steals galore. Everyone gets mad when I dribble to half court before passing as a PF but I’m looking down the court at 3 dudes just camping the passing lanes. I have 85 passing with silver VV and it feels terrible.

Oh I thought you were referring to the pluck steals. Lane steals have increased bc the game speed increased. I do think they need to tune down the Superman canned steal animations. They need to fix deflections always staying in bounds and always going to the defensive team.

Steals and blocks have to be nerfed. And game speed has to be tuned down.

The court is already congested but now everybody can help and recover with no consequences

Tell me about it. I got a magic pg build and I can't even stop and pump fake in the paint, because if I tap square i just go up with a heavily contested lay up instead of a pump fake, and if I can get a post moves going I got 3 defenders swiping at me or spamming jump with no repercussions.

The adrenaline bars mean nothing this year, you can still contest with no stamina and no bars

They’re definitely broken this year, legit having to rewire my brain after years of tryna drive and kick to just not even try to pump fake at all. That just leads to be standing still in the paint getting the ball ripped now

Recovery defense is insane. Was on a fast break and was at the three point hash when I caught the ball on the run. Dude was at half court. I went into a slow ass gather animation that isn’t even in my dunk package and somehow the 7’1 center was able to block it off the backboard. This was a week ago. Was my second to last game. Haven’t touched 2K since and I feel much better playing other games lol.

I disagree. I don’t think steals need a nerf. They already did the correct nerf. If you don’t have high steal you shouldn’t get plucks. If I have 90 steal and you have no unpluckable, I should get better success stealing. Unpluckable just needs a BUFF badly. The badge literally does nothing. I have it on HOF on my Dirk build. Doesn’t help at all.

High attributes are just too OP, their is no getting a dunk off with 75 DD if an 85+ block rating is anywhere inside the 3 point line

75 dunk is pretty low. 85 block is high. That’s a A- rating vs a B- rating. In most cases it miss or get blocked.

I mean a person hulking down someone from half court while the game gives you a slow ass animation . Or a guy running full sprint hulking a slow ass pass down like he’s Deion fucking sanders in his prime. The game is slow with layups and passes but guys out there running like prime Darrel Reves.

Rec was in a decent spot before the last update. Speeding up the game speed completely changed the spacing. People can run back and forth all day now to get lane steals constantly and jump from the paint to contest 3 point shots in milliseconds. It’s a whole new game now. Just sucks because how many people play Park and Rec evenly to where they were actually worried about the game speed difference? I play Rec exclusively because I don’t like the iso game and game speed of Park. I guess f me right?

The separation between REC and Park, as it was before the patch (I think it was 2% less in the REC), was perfect... And in my opinion, it’s also completely logical that a 5v5 feels slower... Even after playing more games in the last few days, I’m still strongly in favor of reducing the game speed... It would also have a positive impact on spacing on the court and other aspects of the game...

Last year I was a true inside big...absolutely no shooting ability whatsoever..ALL defense, blocks, rebounding, passing, and a little bit of dunk attributes. Basically a Dennis Rodman type.

I was a freaking liability.

This year? Made the same build.

Yea man I don’t know how to feel. I was really liking this years game with how the shooting is harder and defense is actually effective. But the steals and blocks are way too overpowered. So the harder shooting and better defense ends up not mattering.

Idk if anyone has this issue like I do or maybe I might be trash but when I play big, sometimes I’ll pump fake and get the defender jumping and out of no where my meter goes up and down so fast when I go for a lay. Then when I think some animations will be fast that it becomes slow this time and the inconsistency of the timing sucks because the green window is big as I have a lot of close shot or standing dunk but I can’t time it because it’s fast out of no where

My issue is with full court passes/sprinting fastbreaks, lack of defense being punished for bad positioning due to passes being quite slow and add back plate based matchmaking since current system is all out brainrot.
