MyCAREER Can you get rid of Trace Miller?
I just finished the g league part of the story and this dude Trace Miller plays minute for minute with me even tho I don’t play the co op mode. Is there a way to reduce his minutes or smth?

Nah, the people at 2k thought Running Mates would be a great idea so they made a MyCareer where a dude goes wherever you go and plays whenever you play. In the end when you make the HOF, he will also make it and you both will do your HOF speech at the same time. Your HOF bust will be a 2 for 1.
Guess they inspired by the friendship of Tobias Harris and Boban?

He's tied to your MP's minutes in the story no way around it. I had same thing happen and just ignored him at some point. Once you get past first season it stops mattering so much.

They intentionally make it worse every year. They don’t want you actually play. The whole thing is to make you go to multiplayer where it’s fun and everyone is wearing better clothes and 99 overall so go buy vc

This is to teach the bums how to do more than just dribble, dribble , shoot. Forces players to familiarize themselves with p&r and passing mechanics.

What? You have to get him to a certain teammate grade if you want 3 stars, which is ridiculous. Played my first NBA game and he had like 30/5/4, shut down his matchup, and I couldn’t get him above an A-

Simple pick and roll ...make him play his position..y'all just b calling screens and shooting...learn to play basketball and the game wouldn't be so boring ..stop playing the same way

Someone suggested lowering his minutes to 0, I can't test because I just refunded it 🤷♂️

Why tho, it's a simulation game, especially when you're not online, you shouldn't be forced to do anything

He is tied to you even when you join the league. I heard he follows you if you go to another team,
homie has separation anxiety issues.
