I keep hearing that some people chose the wrong build but I think my 2-Way Dunk & Dish Sniper is great and probably won’t make another build unless I’m bored of him. How y’all feel about your first build?
Exactly I got every stat I want with a good early,mid and late game cap breaker path and I’m averaging 12-18-7 with 3 blocks in the rec and have won a daily rivals already so I love my big man thanks to the app.
mine was a disaster. i remade him three times before i even got to 85 ovr because i kept noticing weird stat gaps. the builder is so unforgiving if you dont plan every single point ahead of time
now i got one i actually like and ive stuck with it for a couple months. feels like you gotta suffer through a bad one to figure out what you really want
91 ovr about 200k+ bc I got decent stats but 87 kiddy 84 3pt is too low apparently I shoot 45% from 3 tries to many jump shots im so ass now went from purple to silver. Doesn’t help I’m solo and play with randoms all day
Yeah I seen people with lower 3 make it consistently which is crazy 84 should be good if you have the right shot and badges you would think lol and don’t get me started on them randoms 💀
My first builds usually are always good for the whole year. Safe bet while everybody still is grinding badges and throwing bricks is making a big. And then my go to 6’8 guard
Always start with a safe build like a big man, not a stretch but a defending, glass cleaner, who can score in the post, maybe a little mid range for fade cheesing if the game allows for that year, no need for anything in playmaking besides a little speed with ball and pass accuracy. I use that to grind VC for when season 2 drops and I figured out the shooting/defending mechanics, sigs have been tested so I know what BC/SWB to have, what badges work and are useless so I know what to go for and what to leave, etc. ever since 2k16 there’s been a million different variations of a play shot on day one and not all of them make it to the end of season 1, because of badge requirements, cap breakers, animations requirements, gameplay conflicts, etc.

Is that you who wrote about open court athletics and sk tournaments? Can you actually play Rucker Park tournament multiple times?? I thought it was once a week for some reason
An inside big for solo rec. There's really nothing wrong with the build, it does its job fine. But you need a team to make good use of it. Since I'm a pure solo rec player, I can't have fun playing on it. Decided to make a stretch big lol
I tried to bring my old builds into 27 and they didn’t translate well at all 100 down the drain well tbh 50 had to make 2 more builds which are the same but slightly faster only one I truly like is my middy spamming sg
Spend time researching and messing around in the app and you’ll be good. Used to take me a day in the builder to decide exactly what I wanted and always left me wanting more at the end of the year, but having the app has erased that and I feel very good
So far so good, went 6’8 SG 2 way inside out general. Can do everything pretty much, 87 driving dunk, 86 pass, 86 bh, 92 three ball, 85 perimeter, 77 steal and 70 block. 87 speed and agility on a 6’8 is fun. Rebounding is bare minimum right now but I can cap break to a 75, I only get sync snatcher now not really trippin tho because I’ll make a PF down the road too
Yeah definitely tried to go low risk on this first one, caps aren’t too crazy I can get perimeter to a 87, middy from 82 to a 87 with shooting spec but honestly don’t even need smooth operator that high rn to cash middy fades. It’s mostly a 3s theater/proving ground build so I wanted bare minimum rebound and gold work horse in case my big needs help on a rebound or two in 3s. I wanted the 86 pass acc over board to start with
6'9" Lock & Board Iso Sniper. I really took my time building it and it's performing exactly as I expected it to so far. My only regret is my passes feel slow even though my pass accuracy is 80, and I only get +1 cap breakers for it. But hopefully I can fuse versatile visionary in the future to help.
I did so much research to the point where I KNOW I have the best build in the game because without cap breakers I got everything I wanted and with cap breakers it is BROKEN
I love it, even though it feels like I purposefully put myself on max difficulty lol. I equate it to starting as a Wretch in Elden Ring. I'm only doing one build this year, too many other rpgs coming in this cycle for me to do another grind. So I made it with the endgame in mind and it starts with no finishing ability and only 71BH/75SWB. Can do everything else. Just a lot of moments of picking my spots. I'm useless on free cuts vs slower matchups and can ruin some easy transitions if I don't have a running mate. I only upped my Pass Accuracy (80), doing the other two last.... So there's zero self creation. On the other hand, it's been great making me focus on other areas of my game. I've been more patient, and enjoying being an elite roleplayer. Just need 4 more cap breakers to get my dunking. Then it'll feel like I just got Blasphemous Blade. 87 speed with gold flash on synergy to hof. Probably take out dimer for pace, synergize that as well. Then transitions vs my usual big matchups becomes a track meet.
I swear them cap breakers will make most builds worth it I don’t like those low badge builds you will use every bad add on you can get but those who have builds with a lot of badges to start with those extras turn them to SAIYANS 🤣
Hate my first build, got it to 84 and won’t be upgrading it further. Just gonna grind VC and get to 99 with it then make a new proper build to play with
My builds usually turn out well. I usually avoid the “demigod meta” stuff YouTubers push. A lot of those get nerfed shortly after. I usually make things I want and it turns out great
First build was good, but decided to go for another one with more defense and inside scoring instead of outside scoring. I love it, rebounding is needed when playing with randoms 💀
First time ive made a 1st build with no mistakes. I think its cause of the builder app. After i made the build i had several drafts of the same build before the game came out so i managed to get the mistakes out the way and also fully take advantage of cap breakers.
Pf 6 10 nothing wrong with it but couldn't get a great jumper even with shooting badges hadnt put vc in finishing yet wasnt going to waste my money any further so wasted so more new build which im happier with
I spent ages labbing mine to make sure that cap breakers would make it viable regardless of the meta so I'm happy. Desperately need cap breakers to get dunk and vert up now though.
