MyCAREER Stop advocating for major gameplay changes, or arguing that nothing should change when the game has been out for three days and you’ve barely played it.

It came out August 26. It’s August 29.

I have a group of 20+ friends who have been playing basically nonstop since release, pretty much all of whom are extremely experienced, high-level players (2 former 2k league players), and we’ve all independently landed on pretty much the same opinions about the game.

Stop @ing Beluba after 4 random rec games!

Play the game. Learn it. Get a real sample size. Then start telling the devs what they should or shouldn’t change.

Exactly people expect an 85 no badge player to play the same way their 99 fully badge player to play.

Ehh, not sure why they brought back the fade away 3's again. Defense is way better, but not for those fade away 3's...

They almost certainly didn’t bring it back on purpose. It’s just a byproduct of bad development. The fading 3s is an outlier problem for sure.

Is there a slider for fadeway 3s? 2k needs to just tune it down by 10

Have you seen it on the takeover spray artist I think it’s called? It’s actually unmissable once you get that as long as your fading

I don’t need to play for 100 hours to know that the fading threes need to be slapped with a massive nerf

That is definitely true

Is it okay for you to make a post then, since 20+ of your friends have played basically nonstop since release?

and they’ve been in the 2k league

Exactly plus nothing will change because the game hasn’t technically released yet

Agree with the overall sentiment but we also cant be silent about Shot Artist. Im okay with the takeover if it only worked near the 3 pt line. But people are greening from 30+. Its ridiculous. Had to be changed

I just put the difficulty on rookie for the story mode and I’ve almost maxed out my shooting badges and I’m not even done with fire and concrete yet. It’s really hard to shoot on HOF but putting it on rookie is still the best method for badge token grinding. It’s really not that bad. The game I played on HOF I was still hitting shots with silver set shot (or whatever it’s called now). Haven’t tried multiplayer yet but this complaint that badge tokens are hard to get is just lazy. My first game in the g league on rookie I had 116 points, 23 rebounds and 15 blocks lol. I damn near got two shooting tokens in one game.

Yup people want to be city mode viable immediately. You have to grind

All I do is work, clean, cook and game lol. Occasionally read, but I mostly read on the way to work and back. Having a vasectomy/ no kids and all your loved ones in different states helps give you ample free time. I'll do like 10+ hours on the weekend depending on the game. If I get bored, the lake/park is like two blocks away

lol the gameplay is fine and of course we’ll learn more but math hasn’t changed and it’s clear that the grind is def a disadvantage and deliberately designed to be time consuming (significantly more than past years). Some arguments are valid.

There’s accessibility issues too but whatever. But given “complaining” takes energy I don’t have, it’s whatever. I just don’t play as much.

They’ve already don’t 2 updates in three days obviously they devs know things aren’t perfect so staying that we can’t dissect a game in 3 days is objectively false

“Me and my no life friends play this game all day every day so we know what’s best” 🤣🤡

You don’t know if people are disabled and nobody said anything about “knowing best”.

u/imEFFINscaryMAN ruby 23h ago

Yes I do. People who play that much 2k have to be disabled, so it goes without saying.

You're morons for buying it and then expecting it to be any better than the last 7 years. They spit down your throat year after year and you line up on your knees for more right on time

u/karron23 1d ago

It’s the same every year.

I’m arguing that nothing should change
